Dear
Coaches,
It is important before you come to the
tournament that you go online at
www.usssa.com
and register your team. You must also
place your team roster online.
Your team cannot participate or points
awarded to your team if your roster is
not online. To register online for one of our tournaments,
click here. Your team will not be
scheduled any games until we have
received the entry fee. We must receive
your entry fee no later than 5:00 p.m.
CST on the Tuesday preceding the
tournament. Also, you will need to have
a copy of each player's birth
certificate in case of a challenge. Once
you enter the tournament complex, please
find a director to announce your arrival
and go over any last minute details or
changes.
Each team will be guaranteed three games
each, (softball 4 games each). Each team
will also need to furnish their own
baseballs or softballs of new or very
good condition for each game. Individual
awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd
place teams of each age and division
represented.
Scorekeepers:
Home team
will keep the official score book and
visiting team will be responsible to
have an adult running the scoreboard. It
is our recommendation that the visiting
team keep its own book, and cross
reference with the official home book
after each inning. If there are any
discrepancies, the official book will
hold jurisdiction. Each team will be
responsible for turning in a scoresheet
to a tournament director at the
conclusion of each game they play. Both
home and visiting managers are to agree
and sign the scorecard. If only one
manager signs the scorecard, the
scorecard will become legal and binding.
Ice chests are not allowed in the
park unless they are coolers filled with
water or Gatorade for the team. No
bottled water or Gatorade please.
Concessions and restrooms are available.
Due to alcohol problems, coolers may be
checked.
Inclement weather can arise at any
moment. Unfortunately this can't be
controlled. If weather related delays or
cancellations occur, you may call our
rainout number at 417-294-3484 and get
updated info. Due to the tremendous
amount of preparation it takes to host
these tournaments, we will do all we can
to get them in. So, there could be long
delays. Game times may be shortened,
bracket adjustment, etc… may be
necessary to determine winners. You may
also check our web site for rainout
info.
